Hi there! My name is Ez, and I’m owner of Stonewall Studio! I use he/him pronouns, but you can use he/they too if you're cool. I've been a licensed stylist for five years now, and I've taken that bulk of that time to hone in on my creative cutting skills. While I do offer color and chemical services as well, hair cuts have a special place in my heart.

I believe in creating a safe environment around hair appointments, especially for those who have experienced discrimination in traditional salon experiences. You won't be judged for your vibe here, friend. I happily welcome all styles, textures, and vibes in my chair.

Outside of the salon, I am the proud father of five baby boys. They may be four legged, unemployed demons but I love them all the same. I also love collecting weird hobbies and skills, and I'm always trying something new when I get a chance. You may even see me on a unicycle!

At the end of the day, my main goal is for you to come in, hang out, and leave with hair you love. I’m so excited to meet you and give you cool hair!

Hi! My name is Kasi (he/him). I’m a trans/queer barber of 3 years, offering gender-affirming haircuts to all. My goal with all of my clients is to provide a safe space for them to get the hair that feels the most authentic to them and aligns with their gender expression.

My favorite cuts to do are any types of fades or tapered haircuts, burst fades, mullets, or medium-length scissor cuts.

When I’m not behind the chair, I like to hang out with my dog, Blu, and cat, Franki, go to the gym, watch movies, or bartend at The Bistro downtown! I also organize events for Gender Euphoria, a local trans/gender nonconforming social group.

I want to thank all of the folks who have sat in my chair and trusted me with your gender-affirming haircuts. I look forward to meeting new clients in the future!

Hi! I’m Michael, and I use any and all pronouns. I’ve been a licensed barber in Downtown Bloomington for 6 years. I absolutely love what I do, and I love getting to serve this community.

I specialize in short hairstyles, specifically fades and above shoulder-length styles. My goal with every haircut is to help clients express their personal style by understanding their vision and bringing it to life through a cut that reflects who they are. I also like to educate my clients on why their hair behaves the way it does, and I give advice on what products and application style will get the results we want.

Additionally, I proudly offer traditional beard trim services. These start with a freehand beard shaping, followed by a hot towel, and hot lather straight razor shave.

Outside the shop, I'm an avid cyclist who loves exploring the Constitution Trail and stopping by local businesses along the way. I'm also a musician and have been playing with several groups throughout Central Illinois for the past 25 years.

I’m very passionate about what I do, and I am eager to help more people reach their personal style goals. I look forward to your next visit!
